Chestnut Hill Reservoir

Kick off Spring with a fun 5K road race around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir on June 10. The 3.1-mile course is around a beautiful reservoir surrounded by trees and parks and consists of a DOUBLE LOOP course. The race begins at Chestnut Hill Reservoir behind Reilly Memorial Rink.

Please pick up your BIBS before the race. Marathon Sports is offering a 20% discount to all registered runners during our Number Pick Up.

There will also be Number Pick Up on race day at Chestnut Hill Reservoir, please come at least 40 minutes early to allow enough time for travel and number pick up.



7:15 AM – Number Pick-Up Opens
8:00 AM – 5K Starts
9:00 AM – 5K Award Ceremony
9:30 AM – Taco Mile Starts
9:50 AM – Taco Mile Award Cermony



The course is a 3.1-mile DOUBLE LOOP around the beautiful Chestnut Hill Reservoir. It will start on the Beacon Street side of the reservoir path and will end after the second loop.

Parking has been known to be an issue, so plan accordingly!  Parking is available around the reservoir and on Beacon St. Please read all street signs and obey parking regulations. Additional parking is available at Boston College Parking Garage.

Take the MBTA if possible to reduce traffic, parking congestion, and ecological impact.



Do not check any valuables. Although we will do our best to ensure that your gear is waiting for you at the end of the race, we are not responsible for lost items and/or gear check bags.



Restrooms available in Reilly Memorial Rink. Please respect the surroundings to ensure we are able to continue using the park as our home base.

20% Youth Initiative Funds the Youth Initiative’s projects, including the Youth Access program to provide discounted registration for under-18 & Scholarship Fund
10% Non-profit Operations Contributes to overhead costs, expenses associated with management and operations
5% Permit Fees Contributes to fee for permits, insurance, and USA Track & Field fees
15% Security & Staff Contributes to compensation for park rangers, police, and personnel
20% Road Race Expenses Photographers, race equipment, race supplies, water, food, portable restrooms, etc.
10% Timing Expenses Contributes to cost for timing services
