BRR Fitness Challenge

Health and wellness improve an individual’s mind and body. Boston Road Runners is hosting a Fitness Challenge that will motivate and challenge you. Each month is dedicated to a specific workout routine, from December to February. For the next 3 months, you will be doing Planks, Push-Ups, and Burpees.

Participants are required to do the exercise activity every day during the month. Those who complete the Plank Challenge will be entered into a raffle drawing for prizes. Follow the challenge on our Facebook page.


December: Plank Challenge
Do Planks every day for the month of December. 5 sets of Planks at X amount of time.

January: Push-Up Challenge
Now you have a stronger core by doing planks. Let’s build your upper body by doing 50 push-ups a day. Either 1 set of 50 reps to 5 sets of 10 reps. Do 50 reps a day no matter how long or when you squeeze the push-ups in. Modified push-ups are welcome.

February: Burpee Challenge
Sun is coming out and Spring is almost here. Let’s get the whole body back into running shape with a Burpee Challenge of 100 Burpees a day, 4 sets of 25 or 5 sets of 20.
