Celebrate 5 years of CNR and run for a chance to win unlimited Chicken & Rice for a YEAR!

  • As a special bonus, our CEO Ian So will be running in a chicken suit, beat him and win a free meal card.

  • Runners must drink a shot of extra spicy hot sauce to complete the race
  • Two winners will be awarded, one for fastest male time, one for fastest female time
  • Kickball, wiffleball, frisbee, competitive sauce art if weather permitting

9:45 AM – Number Pick-Up Opens
10:30 AM – 5K Starts
11:30 AM – Award Ceremony

COURSE

The course is a 3.1-mile DOUBLE LOOP around the beautiful Chestnut Hill Reservoir. It will start on the Beacon Street side of the reservoir path and will end after the second loop.

PARKING

Parking has been known to be an issue, so plan accordingly!  Parking is available around the reservoir and on Beacon St. Please read all street signs and obey parking regulations.  Additional parking is available at Boston College Parking Garage.

Take the MBTA if possible to reduce traffic, parking congestion, and ecological impact.

 

BAGGAGE

Do not check any valuables. Although we will do our best to ensure that your gear is waiting for you at the end of the race, we are not responsible for lost items and/or gear check bags.

 

RESTROOMS

Restrooms available in Reilly Memorial Rink. Please respect the surroundings to ensure we are able to continue using the park as our home base.

7% Permit Fees Contributes to fee for insurance, application, course certification, and other USATF required costs
10% Security & Staff Contributes to compensation for park rangers, police, and other assorted security personnel
13% Road Race Expenses Photographers, Race Equipment, Race Supplies, Water, Food, Portable Restrooms, etc.
